Honda has introduced a new sports version of the HR-V model, equipped with a 182-horsepower gasoline engine.

Honda has already published details about the new HR-V Sport. This is a special version of the 2019 vintage model, equipped with a 1.5-liter VTEC TURBO petrol engine and sports suspension.

The new Honda HR-V is equipped with a 1.5 VTEC TURBO petrol engine, known for its latest generation Civic. The four-cylinder engine provides a maximum output of 182 HP at 5500 rpm./min. for versions with a six-speed manual transmission and at 6,000 rpm. for CVT continuously variable transmission.

The maximum torque of 240 Nm (version with 6-speed manual transmission) is available in the range from 1,900 to 5,000 rpm./min. In models equipped with a CVT box, the torque is 220 Nm and is obtained in the range from 1 to 5,500 rpm./min.
Honda developed the HR-V Sport version with those who care about the SUV in mind, providing a little more of a sporty experience. Part of the package is a special suspension system "Performance Damper". The shock absorption system of the front and rear wheels limits the relative lateral and torsion movements of the suspension. Reduces the tendency to roll over, improves stability in sudden lane changes, and reduces vibration on uneven surfaces.
